Somatic Experiences is a directory and matching service that connects people with somatic therapists, trauma-informed clinicians, coaches, breathwork, movement, bodywork and retreat practitioners. It is an educational resource, not a medical provider.

Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach that pays attention to sensation, breath, movement and the nervous system alongside thoughts and emotions. Licensed somatic therapists combine it with talk therapy; wellness practitioners offer body-based practices for well-being.

You answer a few optional questions about what you’re experiencing, the support you want and how you’d like to meet. We show practitioners who fit and why. Only the practitioners you choose see your name and contact details.

Yes. Searching, reading the guides and getting matched are free for people looking for support. Practitioners set their own session prices.

Licensed clinicians list their license type and state, and our team reviews it before a verified badge shows. Wellness, bodywork and spiritual practitioners are labeled separately and do not provide clinical treatment.

We use no advertising trackers on health pages and never sell your information. Your answers are used only to match you and are deleted 14 days after your request closes. Partner networks receive only your name and contact details, and only if you separately agree.
